Effects Guide - Text Walkthrough (Reika)[]
Segway[]
Enter the red door.. Following the path of the light yellow tiles will bring you to the effect.
Contacts[]
Interact with the desk in Reika's dream room.
Pincushion[]
Enter the red door. Follow the path of the red tiles and enter the hole. Go through the path, killing the NPC blocking your path to do so, and interact with the red orb. Go right and then up. Make your way to the ladder. In the entrance of the monochrome world, enter the dark building.
Go right and down from the entrance and interact with the lone flower. Go left to reach the bloody teeth world. Go down and interactact with the yellow pins.
Half-Mask[]
Enter the yellow door. Go: Right, Down, when the path splits into two rights, take the Bottom Right and Down. Interact with the gray ball.
Dagger[]
Enter the yellow door. Go: Right, Down, take the Upper Right path when the path splits to the right twice and up. Interact with the gold cone. Go up and enter the green house. Go left and interact with another gold cone. Make your way down and right in the gray maze. Find and enter the square hole. Interact with the dagger.
Writing Sheet / Shitajiki[]
Enter the yellow door. Go: Up, Left, Down and Right. Interact with the golden cone. Enter the green house. Go up and enter the first doorway you see (its looks like a long black rectangle on a black squre tile). Use the Dagger to kill the NPCs and interact with the gray statue. Go to the end of the hall full of masks and enter the door. Go up and interact with the red sheet of paper.
Mutilation []
Go to the room where the Gisai effect is. Interact with the orb to be teleported to a maze. Go all the way down and then go right through the bloodied path. Interact with the arms at the end of the bloody pathway.
Coloured Glasses[]
Enter the green door. Go right and up from the door and enter the hole. Go left and interact with the bouncing cat. Go right until there is a pawprint facing upwards beneath you. Go down and enter the building. Interact with the red glasses.
Prism[]
Enter the blue door. Go south-east and enter the large gray building. Interact with the floating block. Go straight up and interact with the prism.
Head Light[]
Go to the room where the Gisai effect is. Interact with the orb to be teleported to a maze. Go left then go up. Make your way to the ladder then go down it. Interact with the headlight on the ground.
Gisai[]
Enter the yellow door. Go: Up, Left, Down and Right. Interact with the gold cone. Enter the green building. Go up and right and interact with the floating orb with a red sihlouette of a person on it. Go left until you reach a room with one statue in it. Interact with the necklace thing in front of it.
Power Spring[]
Go to where the Writing Sheet effect is. Interact with the orb with the red silhouette on it. You will be teleported to some colourful houses. Enter the green house behind you. Interact with the NPC at the end of the short path.
Long-Horned Beetle[]
Enter the green house where you'd go to reach the Dagger effect. Enter the upper room and interact with the yellow eye. Go right and down between a spiky red archway. Go up and interact with the beetle.
Black Coat[]
Go to where the Writing Sheet effect is. Interact with the red orb to be teleported to some colourful houses. Enter the dark blue door. Go right and enter the door. Go all the way up the stairs. In the new area, go left and up from the entrance. Interact with the coat on the floor.
Macaron[]
Enter the yellow door. Go: Up, Left, Down and Right. Interact with the golden cone then enter the green house. Go up until you reach several tall gray ovular statues. Go through the path behind one of them and interact with the red thing on a stand. Interact with the tiny mushroom in front of you.
Go up from where you spawn and interact with the rectangular hole. Interact with the ladder at the end of the hall. Go up the tall ladder at the end of the next hall. Interact with the pink macaron.
Whitewashed[]
Enter the blue door. Go left from the door and enter the gray building. Go left and enter the doorway. Interact with the floating yellow rectangle. Go up and left, interact with the purple NPC. Navigate your way through the maze and find/interact with a can of paint.
Wastewater[]
(You must have the Long-horned Beetle and the Coloured Glasses/Head Light effects).
Enter the green door. Go right and up, enter the large hole. Go left to the darkish room. Equip the Long-horned beetle effect to turn into a beetle and enter the smaller hole. Go up and take the left path. Keep using the Head Light/Glasses effect to light your way. Enter the chainlink fence. Go up and interact with the barrel.
Lotus[]
Reach the entrance of the monochrome world from the Pincushion effect guide. Enter the building to the right. Go left and up and find two buildings beside each other. Keep going in and out of the room until the room changes into red. Go to the other side of the room. Interact with the lotus.
Student's Uniform[]
Follow the Guanyin Effect guide to enter the white building. Go all the way up the stairs to your left. Interact with the giant moth then turn back the way you came. Go right and interact with the light blue orb. Go down and enter the UFO.
Keep going right until you reach a room containing an orange-haired NPC. Enter the door to the right of that NPC. Go all the way to the top of the room and enter the door. Interact with the school shirt hanging on the wall.
Intercom[]
Follow the Guanyin effect guide until you reach the Colourful Building Maze. Find your way to the purplish red building using the video above (time 41:05) and enter it. Go left and interact with the flag. Enter the doorway in front of you. Go up, interact with the painting then go down.
Turn back when you hear something break and interact with the shattered painting. Go right and down a bit. Enter the door. Interact with the mic on the floor to your right.
Phoenix[]
Go to where the Writing Sheet effect is. Interact with the orb to be teleported to several houses. Enter the dark blue house. Go right until you reach a narrow brown building between two signs. Enter the building and make your way up the stairs to the rooftop. Interact with the blue feather.
Conductor[]
Enter the green door. Go up from the door until you reach a board with the letters O, D and N on it. Interact with it then go right. Make your way to the bottom-left portion of the map and enter the building with the pipe in the left of it. Go right and up the stairs, through the doorway.
Go right and down from the entryway. Interact with the music stand surrounded by NPCs.
Pointed Hat[]
(You must have the Head Light and Long-Horned Beetle effects).
Enter the maze-like area where you'd go to reach the Wastewater effect. Use the Head Light effect to light your way. Go up and take the right path. Interact with the NPC with the pointed hat. Enter the doorway above you. Go all the way down and then go right. Interact with the purple pillar. Enter: The first door to the left, the door furtherest to the right then the door next to you.
Go right and interact with the purple pillar. Interact with the huge NPC. Exit out of the fullscreen event. Interact with the small purple pillar. Interact with the NPC with the pointed hat.
Torpedo[]
(You must have the Long-Horned Beetle effect).
Go to where the Black Coat' effect is. From the entrance, go left and interact with the purple-eyed NPC. Go down and interact with the stick NPC. Go up and left from where you are and find a destroyed gray building. Equip the Long-Horned Beetle' effect and crawl inside the hole. Interact with the torpedo.
Guanyin[]
Enter the yellow door. Go: Up, Left, Down and Right. Interact with the golden cone. Enter the green house. Go up and enter the first doorway you see. Use the Dagger effect to kill the NPCs and make your way to the door to your upper left. Go right and take the first down you come to. Make your way to the dark red house and enter it.
Enter the White building then go up the stairs. At both turns, go up the middle-placed stairs. Interact with the yellow statue.
Sunglasses[]
Follow the Macaron Effect guide to reach the hallway with the short ladder at the end of it. Enter the door to the left of it. You will now be at a train stop. Go right and enter the door. Interact with the switch on the wall then turn back. Enter the train. Sit down and wait for the sky to change to a pink/purple then leave. Go down to the streetlight path.
Go all the way to the right then go up. You will reach a house with a box and plank of wood in front of it. Go up the narrow path beside the house. Interact with the glasses beside the car.
Major Events Guide (Reika)[]
There are four and one final major events. Note that all of major events are needed collecting all 26 effects.
Major Event no.1[]
Go to the enterance of monochrome world and interact with this cross object. Keep interacting until Reika transports to one NPC who also appears in other location.
Major Event no.2[]
Go to the Red wall room where you earned 'Intercom' effect earlier and interact the microphone. If room distortion event (after interacting the microphone) doesn't happen, re-enter the room and interact with it again.
After Seeing Major Event no.1 and no.2[]
When you see major events no.1 and no.2, a dark gray door will appear in Reika's room. You can't enter it at this point, though.
Major event no. 3[]
There is one bed in which Reika can sleep. On a very rare occasion, when she sleeps, the screen and BGM fades out. If this doesn't happen, re-enter the room and try again. About three seconds later, she wakes up, and the screen will turn into bright orange tone. Now the UFO isn't in space anymore. Exit the UFO and follow path until meeting Iwakutsuki.
Major event no.4[]
Go to Reika's room (not the starting point) and fall through the gap in the balcony fence.

After Seeing Major Events no.1~4[]
The dark gray door is now accessible.
Door unlocked. Final event is near.
Final Event[]
After final event, you can see Ending no.2.
Iwakutsuki Event[]
Enter the blue door. Go south-east and enter the large gray building, use Black Coat Effect and interact with invisible man behind the counter, you will get New Menu Type, now follow Sunglasses Effect Guide to the house, enter inside, climb by upstairs, now door don't have wooden planks on it, enter in it and you will be in Iwakutsuki's room, to trigger event enter her cabinet/locker and get out of it.
Endings Guide (Reika)[]
Ending 1[]
Just collect all 26 effects and exit Reika's room.

Highlight to view at your own risk: Two stabbing sounds later, she dies at the door. You can't see the person who stabs her. Ending 1 picture pops up, then you return to the title.

Watch final event. Wake up and head to the balcony.

Ending 3[]
You must fulfill the conditions 1, 2-a, 3 or 1, 2-b1, 2-b2.
Collect all 26 effects [condition 1], find a new menu type [condition 2-a] (or see the balcony event [condition2-b1] and interact reflection in Red Maze area [condition 2-b2]) and see Iwakutsuki's event [condition 3] first.

Highlight to view at your own risk: When Reika throws all effects (except dagger), She can go to the next door. Iwakutsuki will stand at the room. Stab her and get Black Hat effect. This effect is essential when you see Ending no.3. After you get that effect, wake up and exit from Reika's room. Reika goes to the Iwakutsuki's room(Iwakutsuki is sleeping), and holds dagger. Then, Reika approaches(you have to control her) to Iwakutsuki and tears before stabbing her. Later, Reika stabs Iwakutsuki and Reika kills herself. Ending 3 picture pops up, and you go back to the title.

Tire[]
Enter the White Door with messy lines in Inorganic World, go west a bit, then north a bit as well and west to the yellow/orange figure from it go north to the two figure pass between them, in next area go all way south and in next area south again then north. in next room interact with a ghost and then interact with wheel thing to get effect.
Claw[]
Follow Tire Effect Guide and in room with tire leave room, after that go north-east and interact with a red cone, in Hell/Red Maze follow directions on a crosses, west, south, west to the red cone, in next room interact with a creature with claw to get effect.
Mask[]
Follow Claw Effect Guide and in Hell/Red Maze avoiding chasers follow directions on a crosses, west, north, east, south, east, west, south, east, north, west and interact with a red mask to get effect.
Dress[]
Follow Tire Effect Guide and in room with tire leave room, after that go all way north to the red round creature with legs and interact with him, go south-east and enter in red pyramid, enter the right door in colorful maze, navigate your way to the big/long purple building in south-east direction, interact with dress on a hanger to get effect.

Outsider[]
Folow Dress Effect Guide to the colorful tiles maze, avoiding chasers navigate your way to the small purple building on north-west or actually near to starting point building, enter in small building and go all way north, there Iwakutsuki can find Reika with three friends aka victims of Iwaku-chan and then Iwakutsuki will be caught by chaser.
Reika on a other side[]
Follow Wall Effect Guide to the ladder in famicom world, find a way behind ladder and go north, go north in next room and interact with big round thing, use Claw Effect to kill Reika's friends, after that you should be in place like in Major Event 3 in Reika's part, follow path untill meeting Reika.
Minor Events[]
Famicom World Fly Event[]
Enter the White Door with messy lines in Inorganic World, go west to the yellow figure from it go north to the two figure pass between them, in next are go all way north, in next room interact with TV Screen and you will be in FC World, go west then south and enter in the cave in south-east corner, navigate your way to the another purple-pink object, in next are go north and then turn west, keep going west to the exit from the cave, interact with some kind of box to turn on event, there is random chance that in time of event you can see big doodle creature, but you shouldn't leave event until that moment.
Full Screen Event[]
This is like Rave Monkey Event from original Yume Nikki, to find this follow Trysil Effect Guide to the Black World, find there cave and enter in it, just follow path to the room with a big black creature interact with it for event.
Endings Guide (Iwakutsuki)[]
Ending 1[]
Just collect 8 effects and exit Iwakutsuki's room.

Highlight to view at your own risk: After some walking sounds (Iwakutsuki goes to Reika's room, but you can't see because of pitch black screen), two stabbing sounds will be heard. Screen fades in, and Reika is dead. Iwakutsuki is holding bloody claw and she is covered with blood. Ending 4 picture pops up, and you go back to the title.
Ending 2[]
Highlight to view at your own risk: Watch Reika on a Other Side event and return in nexus, there will appear a black door, enter in it, go west to the cage with chasers, make chasers leve the cage and avoiding them enter in that cage and in door, pass the areas to the place with Reika, you can use any of Iwaku-chan's effects and Reika will use her own aka opposite to Iwakutsuki's effects, use Claw Effect to kill Reika, take her glasses as effect and wake up, leave Iwakutsuki's room , you will be in Reika's room, go on a balcony, go down by ladder, kill Ufo-chan (red hair girl NPC) to trigger ending .
Ending 3[]
Highlight to view at your own risk: Follow Tire Effect Guide to the ghost, use Dress Effect and then interact with this ghost, you will get new Menu Type, return in nexus, Follow Wall Effect Guide to the Cave Maze, navigate your way to the anoter cave door thing, iniside room should be door which lead Iwaku-chan in Drop Effects Room, drop all effects and enter the door to trigger final and true end. .
