Possibly derived from "Viscus" or "Viscera" and its meaning is "internal organs"

Previously Vis, Vice is the male protagonist of Fleshchild. After obtaining the male brain, Vis became Vice.

Vice's real world appearance is constantly changing as he obtains body parts. His dream appearance however is of a pale slender looking boy with spiky black hair and a white shirt. He also has red beady-like eyes with red crosses both in and out of his dream world, this is a trait that shows that she's not human.

Vice seems to have little or no knowledge of the world, what he is or much else. All he pretty much does is follow orders his "Mother" gives him.

He has no qualms about hurting other beings. Presumably because he doesn't have human morals and compassion due to being a flesh child, a strange otherworldly creature from deep in a sewer. He solely focuses on completing his goal and nothing else. It seems that's all he really knows.

However; it can be regarded that Vice could have the intelligence of an average young adult as stated by Beelt from one question that was answered in her tumblr, and this is demonstrated throughout the real world as well. Considering what actions Vice chooses to do in order to manipulate his victim or the situation into making sure the victim falls into his trap and collect their body parts, this could be a trait obviously earned from his brain. However; this does not mean Vice could possibly be capable of feeling human emotions and therefore continue to have no remorse for when he harms other beings.

Vice was born as Vis (a flesh child) at the beginning of the game.

After Vis went into laboratory in search of body parts, Vis found two brains, one female and the other being male. Here Vis was given the option to choose one. Vis chose the latter and smashed the glass jar it was in to retrieve it.

After inserting the brain into its head, Vis became Vice. His body than changed to more of a human male form with arms, legs, and a torso. He also gained the ability to read and run.

He collects body parts in order to "grow".

  • Vis, Visi and Vice have cross markings on their eyes that bear a resemblance to Smile from .flow. The creator said it was unintentional and was simply to show that they aren't human. She stated that she chose to do this to the eyes, because anything else would not be easily visible due how tiny the sprites are.
  • The creator, Bleet, said she gave him spiky black hair because she likes characters with such hair.
  • There is a lot of pictures of Vice giving the peace sign in most of Bleet's works with him, more specifically; her goretober works. And according to her, she likes to make Vice look cute. And the peace sign was the most obvious choice for him.
